The copper tends to unbend itself a little, making fitment a bit of a challenge. Overall, it was a pretty smooth process guided by technician support. No standout issues really showed itself throughout other than an unfortunate sizing problem. My project ended up a little bigger than imagined

Waterjet Cutting Prep

Unfortunately, I had lost the laser cut version of my prototype foldable car in transit before i could document any photos. What i had not lost was the cutout as well as the lessons and adjustments made to the model. The model itself worked well and the only changes that i would have made were aesthetic and preferential. The final product ended up without connection panels at some of the edges.

Laser Ready Template

The overall experience with prepping for laser cutting was simple and easy. Not a lot of changes to the overall model was made other than fixing some geometry issues and concerns I had in terms of foldability. I had a separate version of the geometry ready for cutting without connection panels on some of the edges in case they didn't work.
